Presentation Abstract: Silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters have exactly the properties that turn exterior coatings into long-lasting masonry protection systems. Their incredibly low water absorption causes water to bead off and prevents moisture damage. Their high water-vapour permeability enables the masonry to release absorbed moisture quickly into the atmosphere, which is particularly important with regard to thermally insulating buildings and lightweight plasters.
