Presentation Title:  Cool Chemistry IRR pigments

Presentation Abstract:  60% of urban surfaces are covered by dark roofs and dark pavements which absorb over 80% of sunlight and convert into heat. The heat will heat the atmosphere, the city air, and the building. This heat generated is called the Urban Heat Island Effect. The consequences are higher energy bills, premature coating damages, heat waves. Cool chemistry IRR pigments are tailored for Cool Walls, Cool Roofs, Military equipment and Residential. They have Infra-Red Reflective properties (IRR). Their role is to reduce the amount of heat generated when using dark colour.
The aim of the presentation is to build awareness and knowledge on Cool Chemistry IRR Pigments.
