Presentation Title:   Packaging For More Safety in EX-Zones

Presentation Abstract:   The SCHÜTZ ECOBULK range presents specialized Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) designed for safe usage in explosive environments classified as Ex-zones 1 and 2. These containers are approved for transporting various products, including those in explosion categories IIA and IIB, ensuring compliance with safety regulations when dealing with non-combustible substances. A notable feature of ECOBULK containers is the incorporation of EVOH (ethylene-vinyl alcohol) as a barrier, which enhances product protection by preventing permeation of gases, solvents, and other unwanted substances, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the cargo. The presentation outlines the unique components of the IBCs, such as multilayer technology and earthed discharge valves, that are fundamental for maintaining safety during operation. Additionally, the versatility of ECOBULK containers is highlighted, showcasing their applicability in diverse sectors such as Coatings, Solvents, Paints, Inks & Adhesives, emphasizing their mechanical resilience and chemical resistance.
